We're excited to share that Elecrow and LVGL are now official partners! All Elecrow CrowPanel displays are now LVGL ready.
Whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned developer, building embedded HMI (human-machine interface) projects is about to get smoother and faster.
What's LVGL?
LVGL (Light and Versatile Graphics Library) is a lightweight, powerful, and completely free open‑source graphics library. It runs on most mainstream MCUs/MPUs, supports all kinds of displays, and comes packed with ready‑to‑use widgets and styles. LVGL enables rich, responsive user interfaces on resource-constrained microcontrollers — from simple monochrome screens to advanced touchscreen HMIs. As an official LVGL Partner, Elecrow has integrated LVGL support directly into our ESP32 HMI display series, allowing developers to skip complex configuration and focus on building exceptional user experiences. Now Elecrow ESP32 HMI displays are LVGL-Ready.
● Plug and play – CrowPanel hardware and LVGL work together out of the box. Skip the low‑level driver debugging and jump straight into building your GUI.
● Faster development – We provide ready‑to‑use infrastructure and loads of sample code. Focus on your application, not reinventing the wheel.
● Better learning resources – Together we'll keep improving tutorials, docs, and examples. Newcomers can get up to speed quickly.
● Great expandability – CrowPanel has rich interfaces and swappable wireless modules (Zigbee, LoRa, Matter, etc.), giving your LVGL UI strong data processing and communication capabilities.
● Cost‑effective & open – CrowPanel offers professional HMI hardware at competitive prices, and LVGL is completely royalty‑free. Great for hobbyists and commercial projects alike.
